Salty, crunchy snack foods are a weakness for most people. Instead of eating chips or popcorn or crackers, which quickly add up in unwanted pounds, make a batch of these delicious, crunchy kale chips. Kale chips are low in carbs and make a delicious crunchy snack. Servings: 5 Here's what you need * 1 bunch kale, washed and torn, stems discarded * 1 tablespoon olive oil * dash of salt and pepper 1. Preheat oven to 300 degree F. 2. In a large bowl mix the kale pieces with all of the ingredients 3. Spread evenly on foil-lined baking sheets. 4. Bake for 12 minutes, watching closely that they do not burn. Remove from over when crispy. Here's a quick 5 minute workout. Set your timer for 5 minutes, only 3 REPS for each, then keep repeating until the time is up. All you need is one set of dumbbells (or body weight will do) 3x PUSHUPS 3x PLANK ROWS (plank on hands holding dumbbells, row one arm squeezing shoulder blade, then the other arm) 3x Overhead SHOULDER PRESS (standing, pressing weights overhead) 3x SQUAT (weights rest on shoulders and squat) REPEAT!!!!!!! I did this in my BODY BLITZ class today for 3 minutes and they were done! See how many rounds you can do! Comment back with your number of rounds ... I'd love to hear from you. The newest fitness craze is POUND Rockout Workout. I'm one of the first instructors in Canada! So exciting. The first month of teaching this class format has come with rave reviews from the participants. They love the workout, the music and how this class makes you feel. It's not only fun, but there will definately be a few sore muscles the next day!
