The benefits of Kettlebells appeal to people of all fitness levels, ages and genders.  The weights used in Kettlebell training may seem intimidating, but once mastered, a heavy enough weight is very important in recruiting proper muscles and movement.    Men usually start with a Kettlebell that weighs between 25 and 35 pounds, while women tend to begin with a 12 to 25 pound Kettlebells, all dependant on fitness level. 

The movements are different than traditional strength exercises, they take practice and professional attention to master.  When done wrong, there is risk.  Bad form could seriously injure your joints, neck, back and spine. The bottom line is to be safe and learn how to use Kettlebells from the pros.  Trying to learn from Fitness Videos and You Tube is not suggested, as we've seen a lot of incorrect postures and movements, even from some "Famous Fitness Professionals".  It is highly recommended to seek advice from a Certified Trainer before even picking up a Kettlebell on your own.  The best way to start using Kettlebells, is to find a trainer or instructor with a Kettlebell teaching certification.  A certified Trainer will teach you proper movement and form.    Marion Brand is an "Agatsu" Kettlebell Certified Trainer in Surrey and Langley, BC Canada teaching Workshops and Small Group Training with Kettlebells.   Learn technique and skill, properly right from the start ...
